Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Houston, TX seeks a Distribution Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, transfers, and inventory control.

You will coach teams, monitor KPIs, enforce safety standards, manage staffing and training, and collaborate with the Operations Manager on startup, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives to support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a distribution or fulfillment center.
• Experience coaching, training, and developing warehouse associates.
• Experience establishing and monitoring warehouse KPIs and performance goals.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and building a safety culture.
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory discrepancies, and warehouse transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on leadership for daily distribution center operations (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory).
• Lead warehouse teams with clear expectations for safety, productivity, quality, accuracy, attendance, and customer service.
• Coordinate daily workflow and fulfillment priorities to ensure timely, accurate orders.
• Develop staffing and labor plans based on inbound volume and backlog.
• Reallocate labor as volume and conditions change.
• Monitor productivity and provide real-time coaching when performance lags.
• Assist startup and stabilization of a new facility by establishing SOPs and training programs.
• Maintain inventory records using WMS, NetSuite, RF-Smart, and related systems.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurate and timely; support cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Lead root-cause investigations for discrepancies and fulfill corrective actions.
• Communicate daily performance, staffing, issues, and opportunities to Operations Manager.
• Drive continuous improvement to productivity, quality, and safety.
