Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. in Georgia is seeking a Distribution Center Shift Manager for the 2nd shift, starting at 2:30 PM, to lead a fast-paced operation with hourly and salaried staff.

You will oversee workload planning, safety, quality control, and inventory accuracy while driving on-time order fulfillment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of distribution management experience, plus strong leadership and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ management experience in supply chain distribution.
• WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Project management experience (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile).
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring and development initiatives.
• Experience in robotics, conveyance, and slotting equipment highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan workload, production, and execution for a fast-paced operation with hourly and salaried staff.
• Lead shift operations including selection, shipping, receiving, and loading.
• Establish weekly operations plans to meet customer demand.
• Oversee quality controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Balance workload to meet budget and production goals; drive inventory control and perfect order metrics.
• Lead employee engagement and development to foster a positive, collaborative culture.
