Job summary

Stop & Shop is seeking a Facility Manager to lead a distribution center with full P&L responsibility. You will set strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure safety and compliance while managing a team of associates and supervisors.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to implement infrastructure changes, optimize logistics plans, and align staffing with volume requirements to achieve top performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or four years of distribution-center management experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of related work experience in distribution center management.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
• Knowledge of WMS/TMS and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full P&L responsibility for the designated distribution center.
• Develop and optimize distribution center processes to improve service and cost.
• Ensure staffing levels and schedules meet inbound/outbound volume.
• Lead safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to drive infrastructure and process changes.
