Job summary

TBC Distribution Center in Brooks, KY, seeks an experienced Distribution Center Assistant Manager to drive daily operations, ensure SOP compliance, and manage P&L related activities for the site. You will lead team members, optimize inventory, and control labor and delivery costs while maintaining safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing shipping/receiving, KPI reporting, and continuously improving processes.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business or related disciplines is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated management experience including leadership and motivational ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time.
• Knowledge of Lean methodology and driving change in a dynamic environment.
• Safety 1st Mentality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must maintain a current driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all elements of distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management.
• Ensure SOPs are consistently applied to achieve KPIs.
• Protect company assets including inventory, equipment, and facility.
• Manage labor, delivery, and other variable costs within the building.
• Report on performance KPIs: Customer Service, Productivity and cost performance.
• Drive team accountability and performance per company policies.
