Job summary

Leaf Home is seeking a Dispute Specialist to independently research, analyze, and resolve customer disputes, ensuring fair outcomes while protecting the company from financial risk. You will review case details, gather documentation, and communicate with customers and partners to improve processes.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will interpret policy, regulatory requirements, and contracts, providing guidance to leadership on risk trends and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of Leaf Home products and services to discuss options with customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all channels.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter authority for complex disputes and determine final resolution.
• Assess financial, regulatory, and operational risk in disputes.
• Lead cross-functional dispute resolution with operations, finance, legal, and customer service.
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into dispute resolution standards.
• Identify systemic trends and design process improvements to prevent risk.
• Provide strategic guidance to leadership on dispute trends and compliance.
