Job summary

Leaf Home is seeking a Dispute Specialist to independently research, analyze, and resolve customer disputes while protecting the company from financial risk. You will review case details, gather documentation, and communicate with customers and partners to improve processes and policies.

Responsibilities include leading high‑risk dispute resolutions, assessing regulatory risk, and collaborating across departments to deliver fair outcomes and identify root causes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in dispute resolution.
• Ability to present multiple product options to customers based on needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter authority for complex and high‑risk disputes and determine final resolution outcomes.
• Assess dispute-related risk and advise leadership on material issues.
• Lead cross-functional dispute resolution efforts with operations, finance, legal, compliance, customer service, and external partners.
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into dispute resolution standards and guidance.
• Identify systemic trends and design process improvements to prevent future exposure.
• Provide strategic guidance on dispute trends, risk posture, and compliance considerations.
