Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking students and early-career engineers to join our avionics display systems team. You will work with systems, software and hardware engineers to create high-quality, reliable display solutions and to develop system-level tests.

You will learn about the full system development lifecycle, ARINC standards (661/664) and ARP-4754, as well as verification, validation and integration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field and enrolled through internship/co‑op.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with systems, software and hardware engineers to create avionics display solutions.
• Develop and execute system‑level operational tests for display systems.
• Develop software tools to support display system integration, verification and validation.
