Job summary

East Coast Cannabis is seeking a Dispensary Team Lead to help run daily retail operations, support Retail Associates, and deliver welcoming, knowledgeable, and compliant customer experiences.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on coaching teammates, guiding store flow, and serving as the on-site leader when store management is unavailable. The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• At least three years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or restaurants.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the dispensary using opening/closing checklists.
• Serve as on-site lead when management unavailable.
• Coach Retail Associates and prioritize tasks to manage customer flow.
• Provide real-time coaching and escalate concerns to management.
• Maintain compliance with Maine Adult Use cannabis requirements and ECC standards.
