Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. in New Bedford is seeking a Dispensary Supervisor to lead day-to-day retail operations and uphold exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with state regulations and company standards.

You will motivate and develop staff, manage inventory, and partner with management to drive sales in a fast-paced cannabis dispensary environment. Prior supervisory experience in retail and cannabis knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Cannabis experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting with POS operations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service and uphold store policies.
• Maintain product knowledge and train team members on product lines.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels and communicate actions with management.
• Assist customers in selecting products and understanding cannabis consumption methods.
• Handle cash, POS, data entry, and order deliveries accurately.
• Ensure security, cleanliness, and vault accuracy; manage visitor logs.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff with management.
