Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings in New Bedford is seeking a Dispensary Supervisor to lead daily operations of the cannabis retail store and support the management team. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, compliance with regulations, and motivating staff to high performance.

The position requires leadership abilities, product knowledge across cannabis lines, and the ability to manage store inventory effectively.

Qualifications

Cannabis industry experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old.
2+ years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting with POS operations.
Strong customer service skills and a team player attitude.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations and store policies.

Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class customer service to customers.
Uphold policies for sales and customer service to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of products and train others.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate with management.
Assist customers in selecting products based on cannabis consumption methods.
Delegate tasks during shifts: cash handling, POS usage, data entry, order verification, security adherence, store cleanliness, visitor log, end-of-day updates, and vault accuracy.
Collaborate with management to ensure compliant, smooth store operations.
Perform daily maintenance, issue tracking, and issue resolution.
Manage opening and closing procedures.
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
