Alternative Medicine is seeking a General Manager to oversee all cannabis dispensary operations. The role emphasizes strategic sales leadership, staff development, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Market Manager, the GM shapes day-to-day performance and long-term store success.

The position requires 2–5 years in leadership with cannabis industry experience, strong financial management, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a leadership role in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis industries.
• 2–5 years of Customer Service experience.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Ability to clear a background check and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff training and development, hiring, team management, and payroll oversight.
• Set and model company culture, drive engagement, and hit revenue/expenditure goals.
• Communicate sales goals and promotions, analyze KPIs and staff performance.
• Oversee daily store operations, cash handling, inventory and facility upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal processes, METRC and POS procedures.
• Lead loyalty programs, promotions, and customer experience initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (HR, Ops, IT, Facilities) and regional teams.
