Job summary

Ascend Wellness is hiring a Dispensary Floor Lead in Eatontown, NJ. The role supports daily operations of the dispensary and leads staff to deliver best-in-class customer service while complying with regulations.

The position requires cannabis experience, 21+, 2+ years supervisory experience in retail with POS, and strong communication. Full-time, 30-40 hours weekly with weekend availability, benefits and employee discount.

Qualifications

• Cannabis experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years supervisory/management in retail with POS operations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
• Understanding of state/local cannabis laws and regulations.
• Compliance with cannabis regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to onboard/train new staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service to customers.
• Follow policies for sales and customer service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of products and strains; train teammates.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels; communicate with management.
• Consult with customers on product choices and methods of cannabis consumption.
• Delegate tasks; cash handling and POS/data entry responsibilities.
• Ensure security, store cleanliness, and vault accuracy.
• Open and close procedures; onboarding and training of staff.
