Job summary

California Patrol Operations is seeking a dedicated on-site operator to support our security and communications team. The role requires night and weekend availability, strict adherence to procedures, and the ability to manage multiple screens and programs while using 2-way radios.

You will de-escalate tense situations, maintain detailed reports, and provide professional customer service. Strong English communication and familiarity with Word, Excel, and Google Drive are essential.

Must be:

• Read, understand, and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing.
• Constant mental alertness and attention to detail are required while setting priorities and following up on assignments.
• Must possess strong, effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Must always be able to provide and maintain a professional level of customer service.
• Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Must be able to frequently prepare reports and logs; required computer skills. Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Must have a good knowledge of how to use Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
