Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Dispatcher / Planner to keep our installation operation running smoothly in the United States. You will coordinate schedules, plan workloads, and ensure customer appointments stay on track, working closely with Field Line Managers to resolve issues before they become problems.

You will dispatch engineers, balance diaries, and coordinate visits end-to-end, maintaining productive support for the team and delivering a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and using new computer systems.
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable making and receiving calls.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch engineers to customer appointments and ensure the right person is allocated to the right job.
• Balance engineer diaries to keep workloads productive and team supported.
• Coordinate customer visits from start to finish, confirming details and planning ahead.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to resolve issues quickly and keep customers informed.
• Coordinate schedules, materials and follow-up visits to allow engineers to stay focused on the job.
