Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage active on-demand orders and routed deliveries.
• Assign orders to drivers based on location, availability, timing, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with drivers regarding assignments, delays, pickups, deliveries, and service issues.
• Monitor routes for delays, missed stops, or other problems and take action to keep on track.
• Identify issues early and perform QA and service-recovery tasks as needed.
• Investigate delivery issues and gather information to resolve them.
• Coordinate with Operations and team members for escalations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of driver and delivery information.
• Answer incoming calls and assist clients and drivers as needed.
• Follow established procedures while using good judgment in unexpected situations.

Dispatcher

Accurate Courier Services is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our Cincinnati team.

We specialize in medical courier services, supporting healthcare organizations with deliveries that are often time-sensitive and critical. Our Dispatch team is responsible for keeping those deliveries moving—coordinating drivers, monitoring active work, identifying potential service issues, and responding quickly when something doesn't go as planned.

This is a fast-paced position for someone who can manage multiple priorities at once, communicate clearly, make good decisions, and stay calm when things change quickly.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and manage active on-demand orders and routed deliveries
• Assign orders to drivers based on location, availability, timing, and delivery requirements
• Communicate directly with drivers regarding assignments, delays, pickups, deliveries, and service issues
• Monitor routes and deliveries for delays, missed stops, or other potential problems
• Identify issues early and take action to keep deliveries on track
• Complete Quality Assurance and service-recovery tasks as assigned
• Investigate delivery issues and gather the information needed to resolve them
• Coordinate with Operations and other team members when additional support or escalation is needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of driver and delivery information
• Answer incoming calls and assist clients and drivers as needed
• Follow established procedures while using good judgment when unexpected situations come up
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, drivers, and coworkers

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of dispatch, logistics, customer service, or similar experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in real time
• Ability to manage multiple drivers, orders, and priorities at once
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software and systems
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge

• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Schedule

• Full-Time: 10pm-6am
• Schedule may vary based on department needs.
• Weekend availability is required. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled.

Pay

• Starting at $20.00 per hour
• Pay may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This is an on-site position at our Cincinnati location and is not remote.
