Job Title: Dispatcher

Location: Lenexa

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $18.00/hr

Position Purpose:

Under immediate supervision, the Dispatcher responds to customer inquiries regarding pickups, schedules, product orders, and other needs. The Dispatcher dispatches vehicles on pre-set routes daily to ensure efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist Customer Service with requests, route changes, and rescheduling.
2. Provide high-quality customer service aligned with Customer 1st objectives.
3. Monitor, process, and escalate SFDC cases to supervisors.
4. Assist walk-in customers.
5. Support drivers with issues during the day or at route end.
6. Review and file driver paperwork.
7. Update routes and customer information based on communication.
8. Ensure routes are balanced daily.
9. Assist Supervisors/Managers as needed.
10. Update SAP data and notes.
11. Communicate performance standards and objectives.
12. Conduct meetings to inform staff of current issues and developments.
13. Maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
14. In supervisor absence, monitor employee performance and safety, and suggest improvements.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in Transportation, Logistics, Routing, or Customer Service preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
