Job Title: Dispatcher

Dispatcher Wanted in Lenexa

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30a - 5:00p

Pay: $18.00/hr

Position Purpose:

Under immediate supervision, the Dispatcher provides timely responses to customer inquiries, including scheduling pickups, processing product orders, and addressing customer needs. Dispatches vehicles on pre-set routes daily to ensure efficient customer service.

Key Job Activities:

1. Assist Customer Service with requests, route changes, rescheduling pickups/missed stops.
2. Provide high-quality customer service aligned with Customer 1st objectives.
3. Monitor, process, and escalate SFDC cases to supervisors.
4. Assist walk-in customers.
5. Support drivers with problems/issues during the day or at the end of routes.
6. Review drivers' paperwork and maintain records.
7. Update routes and customer information based on daily communication, and reroute as needed.
8. Ensure routes are balanced daily.
9. Assist Supervisors/Managers as needed.
10. Update SAP data and notes.
11. Communicate performance standards and objectives.
12. Keep staff informed of current issues and developments through organized meetings.
13. Maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
14. In the absence of a supervisor, monitor staff performance and safety, and recommend improvements.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

At least 2 years' experience in Transportation, Logistics, Routing, or Customer Service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
