Job Title: Dispatcher

Dispatcher Wanted in Lenexa

Mon - Fri, 8:30a - 5:00p

Pay is: $18.00/hr.

Position Purpose:

Under immediate supervision, the Dispatcher provides timely responses to customer inquiries, including scheduling pickups, processing product orders, and addressing customer needs. Dispatches vehicles on pre-set routes for drivers daily to ensure efficient customer service.

Key Job Activities:

1. Assist Customer Service with requests, route changes, and rescheduling pickups/missed stops.
2. Provide high-level customer service aligned with Customer 1st objectives.
3. Monitor, process, and escalate SFDC cases to supervisors.
4. Assist walk-in customers.
5. Help drivers resolve problems/issues during the day or at the end of routes.
6. Review and file drivers' paperwork.
7. Update routes, add new customers, and reroute as needed based on daily communication.
8. Ensure routes are balanced daily.
9. Assist Supervisors/Managers as needed.
10. Update SAP data and notes.
11. Communicate performance standards and objectives.
12. Conduct organized meetings to inform staff of current issues and updates.
13. Maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
14. Monitor and ensure employee performance and safety in the absence of a supervisor, recommending improvements when necessary.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

At least 2 years' experience in Transportation, Logistics, Routing, or Customer Service. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Certifications and Licenses:

Specify if applicable.
