Job summary

A local service company in Dallas, Georgia is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to oversee technician scheduling and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of dispatching experience, preferably within HVAC or plumbing industries. The position offers compensation of $17-19/hour, a robust PTO plan, and opportunities for continuous training in a collaborative work environment. Ideal candidates must be proficient with computers and available for evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor daily technician schedule.
• Ensure proper job distribution, prioritize urgent calls.
• Dispatch work orders to field technicians according to priority.
• Keep customers updated on delays and notify them before tech arrives.
• Review timesheet reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Contact customers to confirm next-day appointments.
• Communicate with field personnel.
• Maintain accurate technician database.
• Coordinate parts scheduling.

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday; 10 am - 7 pm (*Sunday is 7:30 am - 4:30 pm)

What Will I Do?

Do I Have What It Takes?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC, Plumbing, or a related industry
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
