Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in dispatch, trucking, or logistics.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations, driver assignments, loads, routes, and schedules.
• Monitor drivers, loads, routes, and delivery schedules throughout the day.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide drivers with timely instructions, updates, and schedule changes.
• Monitor GPS, ELD, dispatch, and tracking systems.
• Identify and resolve delays, traffic issues, breakdowns, equipment concerns, missed appointments, and other operational challenges.
• Coordinate with drivers, maintenance, customers and management to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, daily logs, delivery information, delays, and incident documentation.
• Escalate significant operational or safety concerns when necessary.
• Support overall fleet efficiency and ensure drivers and loads remain on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations, driver assignments, loads, routes, and schedules.
• Monitor drivers, loads, routes, and delivery schedules throughout the day.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide drivers with timely instructions, updates, and schedule changes.
• Monitor GPS, ELD, dispatch, and tracking systems.

QualificationsRequired:

• 1-2+ years of experience in dispatch, trucking, transportation, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch and tracking systems.

Preferred

• Familiarity with DOT - regulated transportation operations.
• Experience with GPS, ELD, and dispatch software.
• Knowledge of trucking routes, driver schedules, and transportation terminology.
• Experience coordinating a larger driver fleet.
• Bilingual English/Russian is a plus
