• Adjust schedules and routes as needed to resolve transportation issues.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and dispatch documentation.
• Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations are followed.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers and equipment based on daily schedules and customer needs
• Monitor routes, deliveries, and driver progress throughout the day
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, changes, delays, and delivery instructions
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide shipment updates
• Adjust schedules and routes as needed to resolve transportation issues

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who is organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable making decisions quickly. Someone with trucking, freight, logistics, warehouse, or transportation experience would be especially valuable.

Compensation

Pay: $40K + commissions
