F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, A/C, and Electrical Inc. is seeking a driven dispatcher to keep daily operations running smoothly in Northern Virginia.

You will coordinate schedules, prioritize requests, and ensure technicians are where they need to be, delivering dependable customer service and efficiency. Successful candidates will manage calls, confirm appointments, and collaborate with teams to allocate resources for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Comfort with dispatching or scheduling software (ServiceTitan experience is a plus).
• Ability to stay focused and effective in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Strategically schedule and dispatch field technicians for service calls and projects.
• Prioritize incoming requests based on urgency, location, and technician availability.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and deliver top-tier service.
• Work closely with internal teams to allocate resources for emergency or high-priority calls.
• Track technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of service calls, technician activity, and workflow changes.
