Job summary

Transdev in Lancaster, California is hiring a Dispatcher to oversee road service through coordination with Operators and to provide customer support to clients. Candidates should be customer service oriented and safety focused.

The role offers union-based compensation under a CBA, with starting pay at $22.11/hour and progression to $25.00/hour within four years, plus comprehensive benefits. Normal hours, full-time status, and a dedicated team environment are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' dispatching experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• DOT drug testing and physical may apply per regulation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.
• Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
• Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Lancaster, California is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

• $22.11/hour - $25.00/hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
• Starting pay $22.11/hour with progression to $25.00/hour over 4 years.

Benefits include:

• Vacation : 70 hours to 120 hours per year

Paid Sick Leave: All non-probationary dispatchers and customer service representatives who work thirty (30) or more days per year shall receive twenty-four (24) hours of sick leave on January

• 1 of each calendar year.; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.
