Dispatcher Responsibilities:

1. Oversees all routes and scheduling of buses
2. Counsels and coaches drivers and monitors
3. Handles heavy phone and radio traffic
4. Addresses scheduling and driver complaints, reporting to Operations - Supervisor/Contract Manager
5. Acts as the primary communication liaison with contracted customers
6. May handle charter reservations, billing, or driver payroll
7. Provides solutions for drop-off and pick-up issues
8. Performs back-up driver duties or miscellaneous clerical tasks
9. Completes special projects and assists with daily operations supervision

Experience and Skills Required:

1. 3-5 years of relevant experience
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
6. Previous experience in terminal operations, dispatch, or driving
7. Computer literacy

Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. Compliance with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 is mandatory, including restrictions on Schedule I drugs such as marijuana.
