Job summary

Cooper’s Plumbing & Air is seeking a proactive Dispatcher to coordinate HVAC install teams across Southwest Georgia and surrounding areas. You will manage the dispatch board, communicate clearly with field staff and customers, and help ensure on-time service deliveries.

Ideal candidates are task-oriented, detail-focused, comfortable multitasking, and proficient with Microsoft Office. HVAC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Task-oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• High level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal driven to meet daily performance commitments.
• Willingness to constantly learn and grow.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch HVAC Install teams
• Utilize a courteous and pleasant demeanor to ensure the customer is satisfied and that all needed information is received during the call
• Manage the dispatch board to keep field personnel on the move and generating revenue
• Help the field team by taking detailed notes for service calls and entering them into our system
• Get to know your technician’s, likes and dislikes, closing ratios, licenses, communication skills and more to help them be successful
• Answer customer questions
• Impact the company's bottom line by problem-solving and turning frustrated clients into a repeat customer
