Job summary

Republic Services in North Las Vegas is seeking a Dispatch Lead to guide dispatch and office staff, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient routing across our operations.

You will supervise dispatchers, coordinate with the Operations team, provide training, monitor routes, and handle timekeeping, data entry, and customer service.

This role requires prior supervisory experience and a focus on reliability and teamwork to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of dispatcher experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dispatch and office tasks to support operations.
• Directs dispatchers and other office staff.
• Completes assigned special projects as directed by Ops/GM.
• Fills in for dispatchers during vacations and assigns work.
• Conducts dispatch training.
• Acts as primary contact for dispatchers needing guidance.
• Monitors and evaluates all assigned routes.
• Partners with Operations to resolve customer issues.
• Keeps attendance records; issues written warnings when needed.
• Assists with route audits, reroutes, and hazard assessment.
