Job summary

Northern One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to coordinate daily schedules for our technicians in the Twin Cities metro area. You will act as the main liaison between customers and field personnel, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with experience in dispatching or CRM software (Service Titan a plus).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior dispatching experience preferred in home services.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using dispatching or CRM software; Service Titan a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians to customer locations based on urgency, availability, and skillset.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, update service times, and provide status updates.
• Monitor field technicians’ progress and adjust schedules to optimize productivity.
• Receive and record service requests via phone, email, or software system.
• Use dispatching software to assign jobs and manage workflow.
• Maintain records of service calls, technician assignments, and customer interactions.
• Handle emergencies or high-priority calls and adjust routes accordingly.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure technicians have materials; assist with billing/time tracking.
