JP McHale Pest Management in Buchanan, NY is seeking a Router to efficiently route Pest Technicians’ daily jobs for the branch. The role ensures effective daily communication between customers, technicians, and other departments, coordinating with customer service and operations to improve routing efficiencies.

The position requires at least 2 years of administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong problem solving and solution identification.
• Ability to collaborate with all departments and employees within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Organize routes efficiently based on technician job locations.
• Make a large volume of calls to internal and external customers.
• Confirm appointments for same day and next day pest services.
• Route jobs using geographic knowledge and company systems.
• Input emergency and prescheduled jobs in real time.
• Support customer experience improvements across teams.
• Communicate with Branch Managers, Supervisors, and Center Manager to maximize efficiencies.
• Complete work order summaries and other records as scheduled.
• Prioritize jobs independently and maintain safety policies.
