Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Route Scheduling Associate in Oklahoma City to ensure all routes are filled and to provide timely instructions to drivers and customers throughout the day.

You will use a computer system to retrieve schedules, assign driver resources, and update the daily route schedule while scheduling customer deliveries. The role requires a high school diploma and about two years of scheduling or call-center experience, with benefits including health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2 years experience handling inbound/outbound call taking, scheduling and/or administrative work.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding deliveries including no shows, cancellations and scheduled deliveries.
• Use computer system to retrieve schedule and asset information; determine best method to assign driver resources and routes for efficiency while reducing mileage.
• Update, prepare, and dispense the daily route schedule; monitor and document route manifests and deliveries; schedule customer delivery appointments; route drivers per skill set and Hours of Service regulations.
• Complete daily reports and clerical duties; ensure departments have all necessary paperwork for on-time delivery departure.
