Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator Lead to supervise daily dispatch operations and guide a team of dispatch personnel. You will coordinate workloads, support dispatch platforms and monitoring systems, and resolve issues to ensure reliable customer service.

The role requires a degree in Business/Logistics or related field and prior supervisory experience in logistics or fuel distribution, plus strong Excel and reporting skills. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch operations, fuel distribution, or related operations preferred.
• Previous supervisory, team lead, or demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with dispatch, routing, monitoring, telemetry, or other operational technology platforms preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel and operational reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision, direction, and support to assigned dispatch personnel.
• Coordinate dispatcher workloads, priorities, and coverage to support daily operations.
• Provide hands-on dispatch support when needed and serve as an escalation point for operational issues.
• Support the day-to-day operation and troubleshooting of commercial dispatch platforms and related logistics systems.
• Monitor operational workflows, tank monitoring, telemetry, and system exceptions that may impact dispatch or field operations.
• Coordinate with operations, technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve system or operational issues.
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to dispatch personnel.
• Assist with employee onboarding, scheduling, performance feedback, and other routine supervisory responsibilities.
• Maintain and support dispatch procedures, documentation, reports, and operational processes.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency, consistency, and service.
