Job summary

Sunoco LP in Medley, Florida, is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator Lead to supervise daily dispatch, coordinate workloads, and ensure reliable customer service. This role supports dispatch platforms and monitoring systems, resolves operational issues, and provides hands-on guidance to the team.

You will train staff, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with operations and technology teams to optimize workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch operations, fuel distribution, or related operations preferred.
• Previous supervisory, team lead, or demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with dispatch, routing, monitoring, telemetry, or other operational technology platforms preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel and operational reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to dispatch personnel.
• Assist with employee onboarding, scheduling, performance feedback, and other routine supervisory responsibilities.
• Maintain and support dispatch procedures, documentation, reports, and operational processes.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency, consistency, and service.

The Opportunity:

Dispatch Coordinator Lead supports day-to-day dispatch and logistics operations while providing direct supervision and guidance to assigned dispatch personnel.
