Job summary

Maersk USA is seeking a Supervisor, Operation to lead daily dispatch operations for the Pilot Team, ensuring on-time deliveries, safety, and exceptional customer service across multiple routes and facilities. You will oversee driver assignments, route planning, and equipment utilization while maintaining accurate records and reporting.

You will coach dispatch personnel and drivers, conduct daily huddles, and partner with warehouse, transportation, and leadership to continually improve

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch activities for all delivery routes and linehaul movements.
• Coordinate driver assignments, route planning, and equipment utilization.
• Monitor delivery progress and address service disruptions.
• Ensure timely communication of pickup and delivery schedules.
• Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Supervise dispatch personnel and drivers; conduct daily huddles and meetings.
• Coach employees on performance and company procedures.
• Foster accountability, safety, teamwork, and customer focus.
• Track KPIs such as OTD, route efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
