Job summary

Hillebrand Gori is seeking a Customer Service Rep – Dispatch in Edison, NJ. You will support daily logistics operations, handle customer inquiries, coordinate with carriers, and ensure accurate shipment documentation to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management/transportation preferred.
• Container drayage/port experience preferred.
• Experience using transportation management systems preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.
• Physical ability to communicate clearly and operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for inbound/outbound communications.
• Handle inquiries, orders, service requests, and complaints via calls, email, or chat.
• Provide product/service information to respond to inquiries.
• Perform data gathering, entry, and validation tasks.
• Coordinate transportation providers for prompt shipment movement.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Make special shipping arrangements when needed.
• Track and fix shipping errors; prepare and process invoices.
