Job summary

Hillebrand Gori is seeking a Customer Service Rep – Dispatch to support transportation and logistics operations from Edison, NJ. You will manage customer inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely shipment execution.

This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work with internal teams and customers to deliver market competitive rates and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management, transportation experience preferred.
• Container drayage/port experience is a plus.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for inbound/outbound calls, emails, and chats related to customer service.
• Handle inquiries, orders, service requirements and complaints via calls, emails, or chats.
• Provide product/service information to respond to inquiries.
• Perform data gathering, entering and validation tasks.
• Coordinate transportation providers for prompt shipment movement.
• Review orders and shipping documents for accuracy; resolve issues.
• Prepare bills and invoices; process vendor invoices.
• Handle customer claims and ensure service quality.
• Develop processes to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments and regional offices as needed.
