Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a proactive Central Dispatch professional in Amarillo, TX to connect customers, drivers, and plants. You’ll juggle orders, coordinate with multiple teams, and model exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead by example, focusing on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement while delivering timely, reliable concrete deliveries to customers across SRM’s network.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and communications, ensuring customer needs are met with urgency and care.
• Juggle multiple orders, schedules, and priorities—coordinate with plant managers, drivers, and sales teams.
• Lead by example and uphold professionalism within the Central Dispatch team.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Resolve customer inquiries and delivery or quality issues, turning problems into opportunities.
• Foster collaboration with customers, suppliers, and SRM team members for seamless communication.
• Promote safety by adhering to regulations and company policies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and process enhancements.
