Job summary

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Specialist to join our growing team. You will oversee and assist in the daily delivery of our freight hauling, managing a team of drivers to ensure on-time shipments to our facilities.

You will plan routes, respond to driver needs, coordinate with the DC team, and staff routes daily. This role requires weekend work and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years dispatching/driving experience.
• Knowledge of optimization techniques and process improvements.
• Experience managing a nimble, fast-growing team.
• Computer skills (G-Suite, Slack).
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Energetic and excited about Imperfect.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all our drivers from load-out beginning the start of the shift.
• Planning routes with our system.
• Respond to calls from drivers on their routes who need support.
• Communicate with distribution center team members to facilitate pickups and deliveries.
• Staff the routes and assign routes to drivers daily.
• Manage driver gas cards and driver tools.
• Schedule maintenance services and roadside calls.
• Occasionally load/unload product.
• Weekend work is required.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.
