Job summary

General Parts in Phoenix is seeking a Service Support Specialist to be the backbone of our branch, handling dispatch support, clerical duties, and customer interactions across departments.

You will manage work orders, process billing notes, assist with equipment tagging for repairs, ship via UPS, and help organize warehouse components, all while prioritizing safety and accuracy. This is a non-supervisory, fast-paced role reporting to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Two years of education and/or experience in a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist dispatch in creating work orders and maintaining billing notes.
• Handle clerical duties like scanning, filing, and daily mail.
• Welcome customers and guide them in tagging equipment for repairs.
• Manage UPS shipments with proper documentation.
• Store components correctly in warehouse or attach to service work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and adapt to new tasks from Branch Manager.
