Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Dispatch Clerk to ensure trucks are registered and received promptly. You will manage driver interactions, verify BOL/ASN, and enter data into SAP while maintaining safety standards on the yard and dock.

This role requires strong Excel skills, ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and physical ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout shifts that include weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be physically able to sit, stand and walk frequently.
• Warehouse environment may be hot/cold and frequently noisy.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch Clerk meets truck driver, evaluates BOL or ASN and directs load to NAFTA or MBCC dock.
• Enter load data in the SAP system and receive the trailer.
• Run reports and notify Mercedes MRP of any errors.
• Instruct drivers where to drop the trailer on the lot or dock.
• Record outgoing driver information: picking up a dunnage trailer, an empty trailer or bob tailing.
• Adhere to Schnellecke safety principles and follow standard work procedures.
• Wear personal protective gear on the shop floor and truck yard at all times.
