Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Dispatch Clerk to efficiently register and manage truck movements. You will verify loads, enter data in SAP, and coordinate drops and pickups while ensuring accuracy and safety on the shop floor and yard.

The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and clear communication with drivers and teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel with ability to enter and analyze data accurately.
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.
• Physically able to sit, stand and walk as required in a warehouse environment.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with drivers and teams.
• Ability to adhere to safety rules and standard work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and register incoming/outgoing trucks for timely processing.
• Evaluate BOL or ASN and route loads to the correct dock.
• Enter load data into the SAP system and receive trailers.
• Run reports and notify MRP of any errors.
• Instruct drivers where to drop trailers and manage drop/pickup status.
• Record outgoing driver information for dunnage, empties, or bogey-tailing.
• Follow safety principles and wear PPE on floor and yard.
• Follow standard procedures and safety rules for all tasks.
