ACERTUS is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator I (Mon-Fri, 12:00pm-9:00pm) in Saint Louis, MO, to source carrier capacity, match loads with carriers, and optimize assignments using data and scorecards.

You will manage carrier communications, resolve issues, and build lasting carrier relationships to ensure reliable transportation operations. The role requires 1-3 years dispatching experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field is a plus.
• 1-3 years of previous experience dispatching, preferably in logistics.
• Some experience with customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source carrier capacity through cold calling, outreach, and relationship development.
• Optimize load assignments using historical data and carrier performance scorecards.
• Manage inbound and outbound communication with carriers.
• Identify and resolve operational and audit-related issues.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships for partnerships.
• Support load coverage through planning and execution.
• Assist with order payables and costing analysis.
• Proactively support the broader carrier operations team to ensure reliable transportation performance.
• Additional duties as assigned.
