Job summary

ACERTUS is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator I in the St. Louis area to source carrier capacity, match loads with carriers, and optimize assignments using data and scorecards.

You will manage carrier communications, resolve operational issues, and build lasting carrier relationships to support reliable transportation. 1–3 years dispatching experience and a high school diploma (associate degree a plus) required. Sign-on and annual bonuses are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
• 1–3 years of previous experience dispatching, preferably in logistics.
• Some experience with customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source carrier capacity through cold calling and outreach.
• Optimize load assignments using data and carrier performance scorecards.
• Manage inbound/outbound communications with carriers and resolve issues.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational and audit-related issues.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to grow partnerships.
• Support load coverage through planning, coordination, and execution.
• Assist with order payables, costing analysis, and market trend monitoring.
• Support the carrier operations team to ensure reliable transportation.
