ACERTUS is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator I to proactively source carrier capacity, match loads, and optimize assignments using data and performance scorecards. You will manage carrier communications and resolve operational issues while building lasting partnerships to support reliable transportation operations.

The role emphasizes meeting schedules, maintaining high service levels, and contributing to a collaborative carrier operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
• 1-3 years of dispatching experience in logistics is required.
• Some customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source carrier capacity through cold calling, outreach, and relationship development.
• Optimize load assignments using historical data, market insights, and carrier performance scorecards.
• Manage inbound and outbound communication with carriers to ensure timely updates and issue resolution.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational and audit-related issues.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to support growth of dedicated partnerships.
• Support load coverage through planning, coordination, and execution.
• Assist with order payables, costing analysis, and monitoring market trends.
• Proactively support the broader carrier operations team to ensure efficient transportation performance.
