Job summary

Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a highly organized Dispatcher to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. You will coordinate daily schedules for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical technicians, ensuring efficient routing and accurate records while serving as the communication link between customers and leadership.

The role offers a Tuesday–Saturday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule with pay between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour plus bonus potential, plus ongoing training and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dispatching or scheduling preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate service calls efficiently.
• Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency requests.
• Dispatch technicians based on availability, location, and skill set.
• Manage and maintain the daily dispatch board and technician schedules.
• Monitor technician routes and job progress throughout the day.
• Prioritize calls based on urgency and customer needs.
• Forecast workload and staffing needs 2-3 days in advance.
• Communicate job details, traffic updates, and customer requirements to technicians.
• Coordinate parts requests with the parts department.
• Maintain accurate customer and service records.
• Confirm appointments for the following business day.
