Educational Data Systems, Inc. (EDSI) is seeking a RESEA Employment Counselor to provide individualized support for dislocated workers identified through RESEA and related programs.

The role emphasizes guiding candidates through career pathways and connecting them with essential services. The position requires attention to detail, case management experience where possible, and the ability to coordinate with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Case management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Team-oriented environment experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.
• Reliable transportation to worksite.

Responsibilities

• Implement outreach to identify long-term unemployed and UC claimants.
• Conduct targeted presentations to inform candidates about career services.
• Coordinate with community partners to develop a referral system.
• Screen for program eligibility and assist with dislocated worker documentation.
• Counsel and motivate participants toward a customized career pathway.
• Document participant interactions and maintain case notes.
• Ensure enrollment documentation and service plans are up to date.
• Follow up with partner agencies to ensure engagement.
• Perform outreach to off-site locations to support participant engagement.
• Submit required program data and reports in real time.
