Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group is seeking a Back of House team member in California. You’ll support kitchen operations, ensure food safety, and help maintain a smooth line during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains smooth kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized.
• Manages tasks to maintain kitchen workflow.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed during shifts.
• Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with cleaning tasks.
• Operates dish machine and handles related chemicals safely.
• Keeps floors clean and dry; ensures proper washing and storage of produce and smallware.
• Monitors receiving, prep, production, and storage to meet health and safety standards.
• Reports unsafe practices and supports teamwork across restaurant areas.
