Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse in the United States, is hiring for a Back of House role in California. This hourly, non-exempt position offers comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within a hospitality-focused team.

You will support kitchen operations, ensure food safety, and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and physical stamina are important, with a focus on delivering consistent quality service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant (preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps dishwashing and kitchen areas organized to ensure smooth operations.
• Manages tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed during shifts.
• Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with general cleaning tasks.
• Operates dish machine and handles chemicals safely.
• Keeps floors clean and dry and ensures proper washing and storage of wares.
• Ensures health and safety regulations are followed in receiving, prep, production and storage areas.
