Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group is seeking a back-of-house team member in California to support dishwashing and kitchen operations. The role is hourly and non-exempt, with training and growth opportunities within a large Outback franchise system.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Keeps dishwashing areas organized to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Manages tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift.
• Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with general cleaning tasks.
• Operates the dish machine and handles related chemicals safely.
• Maintains clean floors and ensures proper washing, sanitizing, and storage of wares.
