Out West Restaurant Group, the largest Outback Steakhouse franchisee in the United States, is seeking a Back of House partner for a fast-paced California kitchen. You will help maintain smooth kitchen operations, ensure food safety, and support service with a team-minded approach.

The role emphasizes lifting, standing for long shifts, and adherence to health and safety standards while delivering guest satisfaction in a lively restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments and stand up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Keeps dishwashing areas organized to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Manages tasks to maintain kitchen workflow.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed during shift.
• Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and related areas.
• Operates dish machine and handles chemicals per safety procedures.
• Keeps floors clean and dry, ensures proper washing and storage of wares.
• Maintains health and safety standards across receiving, prep, production and storage areas.
• Reports unsafe practices or conditions to management.
• Supports other restaurant areas as needed to ensure smooth service.
