Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher to provide a safe, sanitized area for staff and guests.

You will wash and sanitize all plate ware, drink ware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, keeping the dish room clean and organized. This position supports preparation and service in a fast-paced, team-based restaurant environment. We offer a competitive hourly pay range, flexible scheduling, paid on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and use them properly.
• Ability to work around warm to very warm kitchen temperatures.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean equipment, sanitize utensils and keep areas clean.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean/Orderly condition.
• Clean food prep areas, facilities or equipment.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes and utensils in storage areas.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles.
• Assist prep cook and kitchen staff during peak times, including basic prep.
• Load/unload trucks delivering or picking up supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean spills or broken glassware immediately.
