Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. seeks a Dishwasher to maintain a safe, sanitized dish area for staff and guests. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing all plate ware, drinkware, utensils, pots and pans, and keeping the dish room clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and learn to use them properly.
• Ability to work around warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place cleaned dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff during peak times.
